Field Experience
Since 2007, as part of its educational program, ESSEC offers students a unique experience: the Field Experience.
Goals
Develop work skills outside of the typical student environment.
Experience collective organization in the professional world.
Raise awareness of the importance of social, political and cultural issues while training students to be open to the world and its complexity.
Format
For four weeks between October and November, all first-year students of the Master in Management – Grande Ecole program engage in a “worker” type internship, contributing full time in factories, supermarkets, fast food restaurants and more, as well as in the field of social and health solidarity (refugee reception, integration, old age, drug addiction or mental disability).
N.B.: The Field Experience also applies to students in the BBA program who complete a four-week internship in the social or health field at the end of the second year.
